James Bond

IN 1963, the second James Bond film From Russia with Love – starring Sean Connery and Daniela Bianchi – was released. It grossed $78 million and featured a dramatic boat chase on Loch Crinan involving three Huntresses and two Huntsman 28s, with a great deal of machine gun fire and flaming fuel drums jettisoned from the back of Bond’s white Huntress. This fortuitous starring role propelled the Fairey marquee into world’s admiring view, becoming a legendary British brand synonymous with style and performance.
